permitting an easy process." -- Rick

"This
definitely was worth the wait. Shannon and I keep
looking at the house and can't believe we are going
to live in it. We could not be more satisfied." --

Goshen's team of designers and craftsmen work
with each customer to design and build a home that will
work well with that customer's lifestyle and budget.
Whether you are building your first home, or your last,
Goshen will take the time and care to make sure that it
is exceptional. Timber frame homes are built to outlast
our lifetime, and the next, so careful planning will
insure that your home stands as testimony to your
thoughtful planning.
With no load bearing
walls, a timber frame or hybrid home is more flexible
and amenable to change than a conventional stick built
home. As our homes age, our circumstances often change
and we wish to enlarge a room or to divide one large
room into two rooms. Timber frame and hybrid homes
provide this kind of flexibility.
Whether you
are building a timber frame home or a timber frame
hybrid, energy efficiency is key to making your home
work for you. With today's energy costs and with
conserving resources for future generations in mind,
considerations such as R-values become a very important
element of your home.
At Goshen, we encourage
each customer to invest in the elements of their home
that are most important to them. For someone who has a
home site with an exceptional view, windows would be a
key factor in budgeting their new home. If your talents
and interests lie in the culinary direction, then you
will want to invest in great countertops and appliances.
Whether a media room or an expansive great room is key,
your timber frame home designer will listen to you and
design your home around your lifestyle.
